Research Projects
This project aims to assemble an evidence base for classification design practices with the aim of understanding how they impact user adoption of records systems.
Future - metadata and its impact on user adoption
This project aims to assess the impact of additional metadata fields on user adoption of records systems.
Future - Records Team Service Catalogues
Understanding the value that records teams provide to their organisations is largely about understanding what services a records team offers to their organisation. This research project will aim to understand the typical services that records teams offer to their organisations.
The data will be used to support future research which will aim to develop an understanding of the business case for offering each service, and what the impact of each service is on the perception of the value that the records team offers to their organisation.
Future - Records Team Staffing Models
Establishing the right staffing level and justifying it is a key challenge for all records managers. This project aims to understand in the most basic sense the number of staff in a records team and how that relates to the number of staff in the organisation.
This data will be used to support future research which will aim to understand how the staffing level relates to other variables - overall satisfaction with records management, service quality and the service catalogue.
